ESTRUCTURA: Instalación dividida en tres secciones, siguiendo el modelo de la pintura flamenca

SINOPSIS. Tres variaciones visuales para un mismo tema musical. Esta obra es un políptico con una misma base sonora.

El título común de las tres piezas da pie a un juego significante, ya que 'web' es una palabra polisémica que hace referencia tanto a la fascinante geometría de la red tejida en las telarañas como a las redes virtuales, ambas con una cara amigable y seductora y otra temible como instrumento de control, dominación y vigilancia.

En la pieza central, subtitulada 'Tremor', se evoca la ambivalencia, ya que lo deseado y lo temido van de la mano y, si nos conmueven, uno y otro extremo pueden hacernos estremecer. Las piezas laterales, 'Joyas' y 'Plata' [tríptico también designa una pieza de joyería], transmutan el objeto temido en otro más deseable y, al mismo tiempo, declaran una opción por la gratuidad ya que las maravillas de la naturaleza están al alcance de cualquiera, fuera de las leyes consumistas del mercado.

STRUCTURE: The work is divided into three sections, following the Flemish painting model

SYNOPSIS. Three visual variations for the same musical theme. This work sets a polyptych supported with a common soundtrack basis.

The tittle shared by these three pieces gives cause for a game on words, because “web” is a polysemic signifier that refers both to the fascinating geometry of the network woven in a spiderweb, as well as to “the Net”, both with a friendly and alluring face and another fearsome side, because one and other work as an instrument of control, domination and surveillance.

The central piece subtitled “Tremor” brings to mind an ambivalent meaning since desired and dreaded go hand in hand and if we are moved, either one can make us tremble. The side pieces, “jewels” and “silver” [Triptych also designates a piece of jewelry], transmute the feared object in other desirable and at the same time, they declare an option for gratuity since the wonders of nature are available to anyone, beyond the consumerist market laws.
